Gorsley Village Hall is delighted to be taking part in the first 5 Villages Film Festival. We will be showing Mrs Lowry & Son, starring Vanessa Redgrave and Timothy Spall, the story of the painter and his relationship with his mother, who tries to dissuade him from pursuing painting. There will also be a short film (or two) from students of the BA (Hons) Film & TV Production course at the University of Gloucestershire, and we hope they will be there to talk about their work and meet the audience.
There will be a bar, sweet treats and snacks, quite possibly ice-cream and we’re hoping for freshly made popcorn too! So please come and support the festival and emerging film makers at the beginning of their careers. Any unsold tickets will be available on the door.
