	The Nearest Towns. Ross-on-Wye About 6 miles away along the M50 motorway lies the pictureque Market town of Ross-on-Wye. Ross is an attractive and friendly town with Tudor timbered houses clustered around the striking 17th Century Market Hall where the twice-weekly markets are still held. The Ross-on-Wye web site contains more about the town and surrounding area. Newent About 3 miles along the B4221 lies the small market town of Newent. Famous for its Market House built in 1668 and amongst other things the Annual Onion Fayre. The town is today undergoing major development work in parts of the town centre.
