The Ross-on-Wye Carnival
The Ross-on-Wye Carnival takes place every year in the town. The 2007 Carnival was on Saturday 4th August.
The Carnival field by the river opens to the public at 11.00 a.m. The Carnival procession itself leaves the Ashburton Industrial Estate at 1 p.m. passes through the town centre and arrives at the Carnival Field at around 2 p.m.
There are always a wide variety of stalls, attractions and refreshments making the Carnival Day popular with thousands of visitors every year.
This year there were the usual old favorites like The Cresta Run & Bouncy Castle and many others including Belly Dancers, Morris Dancers, Quad Bike rides and many more.
If you're on holiday near Ross-on-Wye or just visiting for the day The Ross-on-Wye Carnival always makes for an enjoyable day out.
