Sadly many events planned for this year have been cancelled, more information is available on the individual event web sites. Please check before planning a visit.

Steam and Vintage Show
Taking place during the first week in May - Border Counties Steam and Country Show is held at Vauxhall Fields, Monmouth. More information available at the Border Counties Vintage Club web site. The Club's aim is to promote interest in all kinds of vintage machinery and vehicles and hold meetings usually on the first Friday in the month.

Ross-on-Wye's first Beer & Cider Festival.
Usually held in early May The Ross-on-Wye Beer and Cider Festival is a collaborative venture between the Ross-on-Wye Lions Club and The Ross-on-Wye Rotary Club and is in the grounds of Ross-on-Wye's Rowing Club on the banks of the beautiful River Wye. Not surprisingly the 2020 festival has had to be cancelled but information on future events is available on the Beer & Cider Festival web site.

The Ross-on-Wye May Fayre
Usually takes place on the May Bank Holiday in the centre of Ross. The main routes through the centre of town are closed to traffic all day, to ensure that pedestrians can fully enjoy the town. Car parks will be clearly signed, and stewards are on hand throughout the day to direct you to any car park with spaces. There will be Food and Craft Stalls, celebrating the reputation of Ross being a historic market town with something for everyone. More details of previous events.

Welland Steam Rally
Held every year on the last weekend in July - A great day out for all the family with Vintage Steam Engines, Tractor pulling, fair, entertainment and much more. Visit the Welland Steam Rally web site for more information.

The Ross Town Carnival
The Ross Town Carnival has been an annual event for many years now. It takes place on the first Saturday in August, this year the event has unfortunately been cancelled, It is normally the biggest Free Family Event of it's kind in the county and in good weather attracts 4000+ people to both the procession and the Carnival field. Newent Onion Fayre
Saturday 12th September 2020 - One of the largest annual festivals in the area attracting up to 12000 visitors. The streets of Newent are closed to traffic as the town hosts the annual celebration of the 'Onion'. There are street entertainers, fair ground rides, crafts, food stalls and a real ale festival. The Ross-on-Wye & District Community Association
The Ross-on-Wye District Community Association run a series of activities at the Larruperz Centre ranging from Yoga and Karate to Line Dancing and Junior Discos.
